Blast From The Past...

                                                              February 1st,  2012.
I had been wanting horse of my own, one  that I could gentle and love on! I had found one that looked perfect. Her name was Lils Sweet Breeze.  I had told my dad about her and he had already looked at her too! She was in awful condition and I wanted to give some horse a second chance. I wanted her really, really, really bad! I had been praying that God would bring my dream horse into the picture. And that my parents would be willing to take the step to have a horse at home! Horses are not an easy animal to take care of.
I had been watching Sweet Breeze all day at work. Then a little after noonish, she was gone! My heart dropped. Telling myself, some one else knew that they were getting a special horse. And they took there chance and got her.  I had missed her. My chance at owning an amazing horse was gone. I told God, its ok, I know you have a plan...And if you want me to have a horse you would find me the perfect one! I wasn't doing well for the rest of the day though... I had really gotten my hopes up. Fighting with my feelings to stay content in Gods planning's..
On my way home from work, I got a call from mom! She told me that some horse tack came in the mail..(I had already started to collect tack for my horsey future). I tried to sound excited. Hanging up the phone I told my self to be content and happy for whatever God had in mind for me. I Tried putting a smile on my face as I walked through the door and into the kitchen... where my whole family was just sitting around. I went to my package on the table and started to open it. Dad came over and said " horse is gone.." I tried choking back a sob.. ( so pathetic I know) And said "yeah, I know." Then all at once the curtains in the kitchen flew open and there out next to the barn stood my horse! I had gotten her!  I bust into tears, freaking my dad out just a bit! and then mum started crying, and the boys just stood around with happy shocked faces! I was giving hugs all round and crying my eyes out... lets just say I really wanted her! :) I ran outside to see her! she was in horrible condition, but I knew I could help her! It couldn't have been a better day! I spent the rest of the evening hanging out with her. And telling my parents how awesome they were!
So, here are some of the pictures of the day I got her!

Lils Sweet Breeze. Now known as Lizzy.

poor bag of bones. She had to gain a few hundred pounds.

She looked so puny standing next to my brother Levi.

She was bitten all over and had lice and worms.
Who treats a horse like this!?!?!

She was so sweet. And still is of course!

Now for some present pictures! of what she looks like now!
She looks so much better! And she just keeps getting better and better!

Tacking her up. She is so calm.

Day at the Clinton Fair Grounds

I had one day to go see the fair this year. So I took advantage of it! I went pretty much all day! Watching my friends do horse shows, bunnies, cows, chickens, and goats. As well as the cooking and art. I ended up taking the majority of my pictures of the horses. Which is normal. Here are a few I liked!

This horse was my favorite!

So matchy...

This little lady was trying so hard to get her horse past the hay bales!

And this girl was so young on a very experienced horse
who ended up taking advantage of her!

Front yard makeover.

When I woke up on this nice Saturday morning I heard a tractor right outside my window. The family had started to tare down the front yards landscape!  So, here are some of the pictures I took of this all day job!

Everything was piled in the front yard. We took the huge plants out,
and removed all the bricks and small rocks.

large stones were laid and  we were ready to put the wood chips!

All done! much better!

Rainbow

We had a crazy rain. But after the storm cleared, there was a beautiful rainbow over the house and a awesome sun set! Nice time for a walk!

My Littlest Brother, With the Biggest Heart.

Here is Josh. He Is the youngest of four kids. And he is the most mature of all of us... :) He has a huge smile, and loves to hang out with his awesome siblings! I asked for a model to pose in the freshly cut field and he jumped up and said "ME!!!!!!!!" The field was so pretty i had to run out and tack some shots! Josh was happy to help! He is too darn cute!
