Michigan Hike

So, last Sunday we decided we wanted to go on a nice, short hike! it was very pretty, but it wasn't quite Michigan colors yet. It was still very beautiful! I took lots of pictures! Mainly of Levi... He was trying to mountain climb on the little rocks... :) See for yourself!

 

  
The car ride there was just lovely with Levi making whistles come from a bottle... How irritating.

Goof-head had a plan! After seeing those climbers, he had an idea!

He was scouting out a place to climb.

Levi:  "Natalie! take a picture of me! But don't get my feet... I have to look like I am holding on with just my arms! Epically."  I just did as he said... :)

Oh gosh...

 

 Levi ended up finding just the rock to climb. Inspired by the other climbers, he decided to tackle this rock... Hopefully without failing... in front of his laughing family!

Starting..

Me: "How's it going little bro?"

Levi doesn't answer.. He has learned to block out my chatter.

Me:  "Is he stuck?"

   "He is stuck, he has been there forever..."

"Yeah, he's stuck.."

Levi:  "NAT! I AM stuck, let me concentrate! shhhhooosssh would ya?!"

Me:  "You failed."

Levi: " I just have to see what I want to do... Visualize my plan."

Then I point out a really old guy climbing. Saying that Levi cant do what an old feller can.

I am so encouraging...

Unscathed he try's again.. Getting farther, but in a bit of a situation...

As he screams....

Me:  "your gunna fall you goof. Look what you have done."

Levi: "  *grunt *gasp *ugh

Giggling like a girl, his "tell" that he is a bit nervous..

Mom: "Ben, don't let him fall!"

Dad puts up a reassuring hand...

Levi: "Don't touch me!!! I wann do it myself!"

Me:  " you look ridiculous."

Levi: " Whhhhaaaattt?!?!"

Levi: " I am making it!"

Dad doesn't touch him... just there in case.. But the struggle is so real.
